I don’t think this needs to be justified, but I’ll justify it anyway. Jason Segel. Mila Kunis. Russell Brand. Is that enough? Mostly, I was listening to a radio interview with Rebel Wilson the other day and she was saying how, like, five minutes into meeting with Jason Segel, he was all “So this is awkward because you’ve probably seen my penis.” She reeled back in her seat and tore her jacket. But I mean, yes, who hasn’t seen his penis? He’s adorable. I bet he says that to everyone. And the whole Dracula puppet thing. I hadn’t started watching How I Met Your Mother when I first saw this movie, and I hadn’t read Russell Brand’s autiobiography at the time either, so I know I’ll just love it tenfold now.
2. The Proposal
I do love a good rom-com. This was a good rom-com. From memory. I barely remember it in fact, but Sandra Bullock is one of my fave ladies (as some of you may remember, one of myveryfave ladies, ;)) and I like Ryan Reynolds (mainly because of Two Guys and a Girl (and a Pizza Place)). There was some sort of wedding dress scene wasn’t there? And a dog? Was Betty White in this? Definitely on my Must Rewatch List. #bracketheaven #questionheaven #twitumblr
3. The Pagemaster
DOES ANYONE REMEMBER THIS? Oh, the memories are SO VAGUE. But they’re there! Macaulay Culkin! Remember? And he gets lost in a library and then the film switches to animation! And the books are alive. Or something. I’ve mentioned this to a few people ever since I started to recollect tidbits of it, and a fair few of them remember it fondly. Where did it come from? Why is it not up there with the millions of other brilliant ’90s children’s classics? I desperately need to investigate this!
“I found working with Ryan Gosling to be delicious. He’s turned into a hot fudge Sundae since I worked with him the last time. He is just a delectable treat that every woman should enjoy to the fullest. He was like Baskin Robbins before, and how he’s Haagen Daz you know what I mean? He’s like savory crafted ice-cream now. If you like supremely intelligent, well rounded, well sculpted, God of a Greek God handsomely beautiful guys who are really talented and able to do anything they want in the world, I think you should like Ryan Gosling.”—Anthony Mackie [x] (via fuckyeahmcgosling)
